Job Title: Shipping Lead 1 (1st & 2nd Shift) Location: Macedonia
Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour Position Summary: We are
currently seeking a Shipping Lead for both our 1st and 2nd shifts.
This position plays a key role in overseeing shipping operations,
ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company and
regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader
with hands-on experience in logistics and warehouse operations. Key
Responsibilities: Lead and direct the daily operations of the
shipping department. Provide training, coaching, and support to new
and existing team members. Assign tasks, balance workloads, and
monitor team performance. Oversee safe and efficient truck loading
in accordance with company and safety standards. Complete and
verify shipping paperwork such as shipping manifests and bills of
lading. Maintain accurate inventory and track shipments to prevent
shortages or discrepancies. Operate and maintain forklifts for
material handling. Perform quality inspections on outgoing
shipments to ensure proper packaging and order accuracy. Monitor
compliance with shipping procedures and regulatory requirements.
Identify and resolve any product quality or shipment issues
promptly. Collaborate with other departments, supervisors, and
external contacts to coordinate logistics. Promote and maintain a
safe, organized, and clean work environment. Support general
warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications: Prior experience in a
shipping or warehouse leadership role preferred. Strong
understanding of shipping documentation and logistics processes.
Forklift certification or ability to become certified required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to lead
a team and work independently. Familiarity with safety regulations
and best practices in a warehouse environment. Strong
problem-solving and multitasking abilities. High school diploma or
equivalent; additional logistics training a plus. Benefits:
