Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an
elementary school in Detroit, MI, with a focus on supporting
students in an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) setting. This
contract role runs from ASAP through June 11, 2026, and offers 22
hours per week over three days, working onsite. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
for an elementary caseload of approximately 25 students with ASD. -
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's
speech and language needs. - Collaborate with teachers, parents,
and other school staff to support student communication goals. -
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly. -
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school policies
and regulations. Qualifications and Experience: - Active
Speech-Language Pathologist license. - Full Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. - Prior experience
working in a school setting, preferably with elementary-age
students. - Strong understanding of communication disorders related
to ASD. - Ability to work effectively as part of a
multidisciplinary team. - Excellent communication and
organizational skills. Location: - Onsite role in Detroit, MI,
