The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 400 physicians employed by the Summa Health System. With 2 hospitals and 20 health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region. Opportunity Highlights Surgery centers include Akron’s Main Campus and Medina ASC Epic System’s EMR Seasoned ophthalmology technician staff New graduates are welcome to apply Employed position with comprehensive benefit package, sign on bonus, and relocation support Competitive compensation with salary guarantee Large, established, referral base within the medical group, ACO and community partners Schedule: Ophthalmology Clinic – 75 Arch Street, Akron, OH Outpatient Clinic Hours 8:30am to 5:00pm 30 to 35 patients a day No call Surgery days are 1 to 2 times/week (Thursdays are blocked surgery days) Candidate Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible in Ophthalmology Unrestricted Ohio License or willingness to obtain Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment EOE/AA Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Disabled. Influenza vaccine required for all Summa health employees.
