Job Description:
Lincoln Electric seeks a skilled Engineer in Sustaining
Engineering to join our esteemed team in Cleveland, Ohio. As a
global leader in the provision of innovative welding and cutting
technologies, we require a talented individual committed to
maintaining and enhancing engineered solutions post-production.
This role focuses on improving existing products and processes,
reducing costs, and implementing changes that will ensure product
integrity and performance details that meet the challenging demands
of our dynamic market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong
background in mechanical or electrical engineering, a keen eye for
detail, and the drive to excel in a fast-paced manufacturing
environment. Evaluate and enhance the performance and efficiency of
existing products Collaborate with production teams to identify and
solve engineering problems Implement cost reduction initiatives
while maintaining product quality Conduct root cause analysis for
product failure modes and propose acceptable resolutions Document
all engineering changes and updates adequately for compliance and
patents Participate in the creation of maintenance strategies for
manufacturing equipment Ensure all engineering projects and
initiatives align with international standards and safety
regulations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient
in CAD software and Microsoft Office Experience with ERP systems
Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes Excellent
communication and collaboration abilities Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional
Engineer (PE) license preferred Lean Six Sigma Certification is a
plus
