Job Description Job Description Do you like to drive? We're
hiring a 1st shift Driver to transport individuals with
disabilities to and from their day programs and medical
appointments. Can you safely drive a variety of vehicles that
includes passenger vans, mini-vans and 12-passenger buses? If so,
apply today! Opening: Driver: Must be able to pass a DOT physical
and drug screen Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours / week, Monday-Friday
7:30am-3:30pm* Position pays $18.45 per hour Day time route times
will vary based on scheduled medical appointments. Weekends and
evening routes may be needed on occasion based on scheduled medical
appointments for persons served. Primarily provides coverage for
two side-by side Cuyahoga County group homes and provides back-up
coverage for the other two Cuyahoga County group homes. In
addition, the Driver may also provide transportation for residents
that live at the Center in Mantua (Portage County), or work as a
Direct Support Professional (DSP) at the Group Homes.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent Must have
valid Ohio Driver License with less than 5 points and proof of
current automobile insurance Must be able to read schedules and
maps, be able to follow driving directions Must be able to read,
understand and speak English clearly Ability to push, pull and lift
up to 60 pounds Experience driving larger vehicles is preferred
Experience working with people who have intellectual/developmental
disabilities and/or people who are non-ambulatory is preferred
