standards. Job Summary: The Business Development Representative
(BDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by
identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. This
role supports the sales team by building a pipeline of leads
through outbound outreach and strategic engagement. The BDR works
closely with the Sr. Account Executive to ensure alignment with
sales objectives and market strategies. Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential clients and target markets.
Initiate outbound communication via phone, email, and social
platforms to generate interest. Qualify leads and schedule
introductory meetings for the sales team. Maintain detailed records
of outreach activities and lead status in the CRM system.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support campaigns and
improve lead conversion. Track and report on key performance
metrics related to lead generation and engagement. Stay informed on
industry trends, competitive landscape, and company offerings.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing,
Communications, or related field. 1–2 years of experience in sales,
business development, or customer-facing roles. Strong verbal and
written communication skills. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g.,
Salesforce, HubSpot). Ability to work independently and manage
multiple tasks effectively. Goal-oriented with a proactive and
persistent approach to outreach. Physical Requirements: Ability to
work onsite in a professional office setting. Prolonged periods of
sitting and computer use. Occasional lifting of office materials or
equipment (up to 20 lbs). May require occasional travel for
meetings or events.
