DescriptionWe have immediate openings in our Quality Department in our headquarters off in Mentor, OH for: Quality Technician on 3rd shift. This position will be responsible for maintaining our Quality Management System **Quality Technician**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Accountable for planning and conducting audits, reporting the results, and maintaining the records in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements and our quality management system.Accountable for follow-up activities on audits which includes the verification of the corrective actions taken, and reporting of the verification results.Monitor any trends in the audit findings and initiate any necessary corrective/preventative actions.Accountable for developing, conducting, and documenting various training sessions provided to personnel in order to perform their daily activities. Perform follow-up audits on personnel in order to determine if the various training sessions provided have been effective.Accountable for supporting corrective action teams as demanded.Initiate corrective/preventive actions.Prepare various documentation necessary to implement, maintain, and improve our quality management system Perform audits at vendors, issue corrective actions as necessary, and perform follow-up activities as required.PM21

Requirements**Quality Technician**Education and Experience Qualifications include but are not limited to:Working knowledge of ISO-9001 quality system standard and total quality management techniques;Thorough knowledge of common mechanical and electronic measurement equipment;Thorough knowledge of calibration procedures for all measurement equipment;Working knowledge of statistical process control techniques;Working knowledge of the common processes for the machining and forming of metals;Ability to read and understand engineering drawings;Working knowledge of quality system auditing procedures;Ability to develop, conduct, and document various Quality training sessions for personnel throughout facility - including but not limited to: Introductory to ISO 9001:2000, proper use of gauging, auditing techniques etc.Language, writing, and computer literacy skills appropriate to prepare documentation for our Quality Management System - including but not limited to calibration procedures, inspection procedures, QP's, QCP's, and general SOP's.Ability to conduct and analyze gage R&R studies, bias & repeatability studies, process capability studies, possibly Machine capability studies.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are represented of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
