Job Description:
Overview:The purpose of the Customer Support Center is to manage
out of manual condition (OMC) findings and technical issues related
to turbine engine components. The Customer Support Technician
manages OMC's by identifying, categorizing, and processing the
technical issue. The Customer Support Technician has opportunities
to use unique and creative thinking to find innovative solutions to
common issues. The Customer Support Technician will manage incoming
technical issues, reviewing the condition and streamlining the
repair process by getting the proper technical support involved.
The Customer Support Technician will have the opportunity to make a
positive impact on the overall repair process at CRT, and gain
diverse knowledge and experience within the aviation

your work day look like?Evaluate work instructions, FAA
regulations, and approved technical data to determine and
categorize the repair path for turbine engine components.Manage the
OMC process and use known data to create and write comprehensive,
technical reports.Use the OMC system/process to identify common
technical issues related to engine components to spark continuous
improvement.Drive long-term solutions to common technical issues
for high impact component programs.Establish and maintain lines of
communication to convey OMC status to internal and external
customers. Minimum Qualifications:High level of demonstrated
personal ownership and accountability.Communication skills -
college level reading (technical), writing (technical), and
speaking English.Organization skillsBasic understanding of
computers, their function, and common software.Ability to recognize
and solve technical problems using creative thinking.Understand
basic shop math and geometric tolerances.General knowledge of shop
procedures and technical processes (machining, welding, thermal
spray, electroplating, inspection, bench, etc.).Two/four-year
technical degree (BS Mechanical, Aerospace, or related), or
equivalent experience in a related industry.Preferred
Qualifications:Three years turbine engine component repair
experience.General knowledge of civil aviation regulations.General
knowledge of engine/overhaul manuals, and/or other process manuals
used to repair turbine engine components.Strong organization and
