Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reports any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer Represents the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with client/patients Schedules and delivers home medical equipment to client/patients' homes Demonstrates and explains HME equipment in the client's home and obtain appropriate documentation Picks up and cleans home medical equipment as needed Performs light maintenance on delivery van, and maintains mileage/vehicle check log Maintains equipment tracking and lot number tracking for oxygen and solutions Performs equipment maintenance per manufacturer's guidelines Maintains HME delivery records Assists in resolving client equipment problems when appropriate Assumes on-call responsibilities in accordance with Company policy Reports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with Company policy Participates in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies Participates in the Company's Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator Participates in Company committees when requested Pursues continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned by HME Technician SupervisorREQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience High school diploma or equivalent 0-2 years of home medical equipment experience Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills Strong communication skills in speaking and writing Organizational skills sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience One year of home medical equipment experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, as well as talk and hear The employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 114 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
