industries is actively seeking entry-level Machine Operators to
join and grow in the PPG organization. On the job training will be
provided for a minimum of 90 days. Machine Operators will operate
various machinery, including, but not limited to EDM, CNC,
waterjet, and grinding equipment to machine incoming parts
according to customer specifications and written work instructions.
All shifts available, please mark your desired shift when
completing your application. Requirements:Visually inspect all
parts prior to performing any machining operation for
non-conformanceSecure parts into fixtures as instructedFollow
machining work instructions as writtenVisually inspect and gauge
all parts after machining process has been completedRecord gauge
data on the appropriate form as directedReport all non-conforming
product to your supervisor, manager, or quality team memberMaintain
organized work area during machine cycle timeReview and understand
required part commitments every shiftOther work related tasks as
requiredKnowledge, skills, and abilitiesHigh school diploma or
equivalent preferredManufacturing experience is a plus, but not
requiredAbility to perform basic math (adding, subtracting,
multiplying, dividing, read and write decimal form)Must be able to
read and write legibly for QMS complianceAbility and willingness to
work overtime and / or 7 days with noticeAbility to lift and secure
parts into fixtures repeatedly Ability to read and interpret part
routers and work instructionsAbility and willingness to meet or
exceed daily commitmentsExperience with or willingness to learn to
use hand held tools including, but not limited to: calipers,
micrometers, feeler gauges, and allen wrenchesAbility and
willingness to adhere to attendance policies is a must Compensation
