Job Description:

J Severino Construction is looking for a experienced Civil Site Excavation Foreman. Must have experience with Mass Excavation, Commercial Water, Sanitary and Storm Sewer applications. Must be able to read and understand plans. Experience operating heavy equipment. Good communication skills for company representation to owners/GC. Must be willing to travel, J Severino Construction covers most of Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Duties And Responsibilities 3+ years experience as a heavy civil construction foreman Thorough knowledge or planning, layout, and execution of excavation, backfill, and underground piping/utilities. Competency in working with deep excavations requiring the use of trench boxes and other support systems. Experience in mass excavation, demolition, site work, and utility line work. Ability to operate heavy equipment - Loader, Bull Dozer, Excavator. Ability to read plans and specifications. Ability to take direction and manage multiple people. Trimble GPS experience is a must Must be willing to travel to any and all job sites without exception (including staying away from home if necessary.) SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will have supervisory responsibilities. Competencies Collaboration Skills, Communication Proficiency and Customer/Client Focus. Minimum Qualifications The candidate must have a minimum of 5-years of heavy civil construction field experience. Must have strong communication and writing skills.
