Kelly Services is Hiring for our valued client STERIS in Mentor, Ohio for Tig Welders.



1st shift

Shift/Hours: -7:00 AM-4:30pm - Monday-Thursday (7:00 AM-11:00 AM) Friday Optional OT on Fridays only

Length of Assignment: contract to hire depending on performance and business



Pay rate- Will Depend on experience- -Pay Rate: $15.77-$24.04/hour DOE
TIG Welder

Attention to detail

Must either have certification process or already certified AWSD 1.1 or 1.6



Essential Functions



1. Set-up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, and Heliarc) and stud welding equipment using prescribed methods and procedures to weld parts within acceptable tolerances and standards.



2. Ability to build weldments through manual layout process, when required.



3. Read and interpret STERIS - welding blueprints including standard welding symbols, travelers, and other working documents.



4. Use required measuring instruments and gages to check and ensure parts meet dimensional requirements.



5. Communicate clearly, both verbally and written, with Engineers, Quality personnel, supervisors, and fellow team employees.



6. As a member of a self-directed work group, complete all projects, assignments, and duties as directed and instructed.



7. Remain safety-conscious at all times, wearing all prescribed safety equipment and observing all safety rules stated in the Associate Handbook.



8. Conform to all policies, procedures and rules of conduct as communicated through the Associate Handbook, Bulletin Boards, Newsletters and any other vehicle by which information is distributed by STERIS - Management.



9. Record production activities on computerized material management system (SFC).



10. Meet all productivity requirements



11. Perform work to meet all required quality specifications.
