Job Description:

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Mental Health Counselor/Therapist - The Transitional Youth Counselor offers diagnostic assessment and counseling primarily within the office-tele-health setting for clients 16-25 years of age. This position is responsible for individual, family, and group services. This licensed provider will engage as a member of one or more collaborative teams. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.

Responsibilities:

Provide trauma informed services to clients and their family system
Monitor and review progress
Provides outpatient individual, group and family therapy
Maintains clinical records within Crossroads standards
Arranges appointments and collateral contacts, and coordinates therapeutic effort
Requirements:

Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work required
LSW, LPC or MFT required; LISW, LPCC or IMFT preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to work on a team in a fast-paced, high stress environment
Must possess excellent crisis management-de-escalation skills
