(Physician/MD qualifications required) Physician - BeIDT Health provides a continuum of quality life-changing behavioral health and specialized chemical dependency treatment services to children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families. As a leader in the behavioral health field, we offer a vast array of programs and services that evaluate, educate, strengthen and support thousands of children, adults and their families each year.

Due to programmatic expansion, our CCBHC department is excited to be adding the position of Youth Prescriber. The Youth Prescriber offers psychiatric assessment and medication management within the outpatient Youth setting. This position is responsible for individual services to patients assigned by BeIDT Health. This licensed provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.

Additionally, the Prescriber will:

Provide psychiatric assessments, medication evaluation and medication management.
Regularly assess consumers & prescribe psychotropic medications for all team clients via office and home visits
Educate consumers & their families regarding medications-symptoms-illness-side effects.
Attend all Team meetings in order to provide integrated, high quality clinical care and provide Team members with
consultation in developing treatment plans.
Participate in ongoing assessment and therapeutic engagement of youth clients. Complete, as directed, elements of the comprehensive assessment for clients within 60 days of admission
Position Requirements:

Master's Degree (minimum)
Experience in mental health treatment (preferred)
Experience working in a community mental health agency (preferred).
Licensed in the State of Ohio as a Physician Assistance, Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
Medicare Provider Number
Professional Liability Insurance.
Standard Care Arrangement (annually) or Supervision Agreement (whichever applicable)
BLS-First Aid (employer provided)
Must have valid driver's license (4 points or less) and carry minimum auto liability insurance of $100,000-$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.Our Organization is committed to equal employment opportunity.
