Job Description:
The Mortgage Lending Servicer is responsible for providing
mortgage servicing support. Duties include, but are not limited to:
performing administrative tasks to support the Mortgage Lending
Team, assisting members with mortgage questions, loan research,
processing mortgage payments and payoffs, preparing mortgage
releases, disbursing real estate taxes and insurance, completing
escrow analysis, HMDA processing, accounts payable/receivable.
Monitor and track borrowers evidence of insurance to ensure
compliance with loan document requirements. Serves as a back-up to
other functions, or projects, within the Mortgage Lending
Department. Provides general Company information and actively
participates in Companys Superior Sales & Service Program.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for Fannie Mae full servicing, uploading documents, and
reports for servicing related items. Reviews daily balancing for
proper and accurate daily postings. Processes payments from tellers
including loan payoffs and adjustments and processes mail payments.
Reconciles closed loans and resolves errors including incorrect
payments, escrows, secondary marketing, and closing mistakes.
Researches and resolves funding errors. Prepares miscellaneous
correspondence and records.
Our Mortgage Lending Servicer assumes responsibility for
establishing and maintaining professional business relationships
with members and mortgage professionals. Resolves (or refers)
requests and problems promptly and courteously. Answers member loan
questions regarding applications in the process of approval,
payments, balances, and insurance requirements. Keeps members and
realtors properly informed of Company policies and procedures.
Notifies members of additional information required. Maintains and
conveys the Company's professional reputation.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective
coordination and communication with Company personnel and with
management. Assists and supports Mortgage Loan personnel as needed.
Completes reports and records promptly and accurately. Attends
meetings as required. Keeps management informed of area activities
and of any significant problems.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Performs miscellaneous clerical functions as needed. Keeps work
area clean, secure, and well maintained. Replaces absent Mortgage
Loan personnel as required. Actively participates in Companys
Superior Sales & Service Program. Meets MR Goals.

fashion, with zero errors.
To assist Mortgage Lending associates in organizing and completing
mortgage files within the prescribed time frame to close loan.
To maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for
members and co-workers.
To maintain working knowledge of all mortgage products and rates,
both within the Company and from the industry overall.
To return all call within 24 hours of receipt.
To provide informed, accurate professional service to members and
Company associates.
