We offer employees a dynamic, collaborative work environment along with acomprehensive range of benefit selections to support your total wellness, including several 100% employer paid benefits.This role will be expected to travel locally to clinical locations in Ashtabula, Lake and Cuyahoga Counties as neededSCOPE OF ROLEReporting to the Director, Primary Care Services, the Supervisor, COVID Testing & Vaccinations will be successful in their role by supporting the Administrative and Primary Care Departments and outside clients in the coordination of COVID-19 testing and vaccinations for Signature Health. The Supervisor will provide administrative and clinical oversight and coordination for all Signature Health COVID-19 testing and vaccination activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective workflows for achieving each clinical and administrative task. The Supervisor is responsible for compliance with Federal, State and Medicare regulations along with compliance for Centers for Disease Control guidelines and testing standards.HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED Effectively supervise and oversee the daily objectives of the COVID-19 testing and vaccination nursing team.Be actively engaged when overseeing your team member's individual performance which should include ongoing coaching, development, and meeting objectives through the annual review process.Lead by example by provide ongoing communication, teaching, and training to team members.Actively lead team meetings and process improvement initiatives to continuously improve work productivity, quality and efficiency of the team.Provide outstanding comprehensive and evidence-based primary care nursing services, care, and preventative screenings to patients.Identify and ensure care delivery is maintained within the scope of practice Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Assistants.Establish clinical direction for nursing care delivery providing clinical supervision, delegating responsibilities and maintaining quality outcomes.Work closely with the Director, Primary Care Services and Manager, Immunization Program to assure the testing sites are operating as designed.Oversee test site-associated logistics, including but not limited to, ordering testing supplies and personal protective equipment, arranging for laboratory courier services, and proper set-up, takedown, and disinfection of test sites where necessary.Monitor test sites and work closely with employees to ensure a positive patient experience, data quality through the registration process, proper management of laboratory samples, and timely results communication to clients.Provide oversite to ensure that established testing and screening site protocols are followed including, but not limited to, those associated with biohazard containment, infection control, and the appropriate physical distancing of patients.Prepare staffing and scheduling rosters for Signature Health testing and vaccination clinic sites and ensures that adequate staffing coverage is maintained.Troubleshoot on-site issues and creatively solves problems based on a knowledge of testing protocols and infection control.Coordinate a process to ensure timely and accurate result notification to patients and providers, including test results received on weekends/holidays.Provide primary care nursing duties as needed or assigned.Conduct nasopharyngeal and/or anterior nare specimen collection for the purpose of screening patients for COVID-19, administer vaccinations, and assist with primary care clinical nursing tasks as needed within scope of practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing and the Ohio Revised Code's Nurse Practice Act.Administer vaccines or any necessary medications.Provide patient education regarding COVID symptoms, prevention, testing and when to report to the Emergency Room.Follow all requirements related to personal protective equipment, hand hygiene, cleaning of workstation and physical distancing practices.Exhibit a non-judgmental, empathetic and a fully supportive approach when communicating with patients, families, and staff.Ensure sensitivity to cultural diversity and maintains age-related competence for the population serviced.Work with Primary Care Coordinator to monitor operation of medical equipment by verifying equipment availability, completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.Maintain your individual clinical and professional knowledge and skill through formal and informal educational experiences.Create a friendly and professional work environment and maintain clear communication with co-workers, referents or designated liaison person.Maintain professional licensure and requirements as designated by the Ohio Board of Nursing.Uphold and ensure compliance with and attention to all agency policies and procedures.Comply with all agency policies and procedures.Maintain all aspects of HIPAA, promoting patient confidentiality and right to privacy.May be required to perform telehealth services as determined by Signature Health.Adherence and completion of compliance training provided by Signature Health.Responsible for and completes all productivity/documentation requirements.Participate in all assigned staff meetings and staff development programs.Demonstrate appropriate attendance and punctuality in adherence with Signature Health policies.Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Completion of an approved program in registered nursing required.Valid unencumbered RN license in the state of Ohio required.5+ years of total RN experience with 3+ years of nursing supervisory experience required.Demonstrated leadership experience in project or program management required.American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.A working knowledge of mental illness and the disease concept of chemical dependency.Working knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.Excellent organizational
