Job Summary:The Field Partner Manager is an internal customer service provider that liaises between Stratus’ existing Field Partners (subcontractors) and Stratus employees within a designated geographic territory. From signage to site refresh & remodel, from energy & lighting to repair & maintenance solutions, we deliver ideal solutions to meet all our client's branding needs.Expand and maintain the Preferred Field Partner network for all lines of business in defined Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs)Although the number of Field Partners within a specific MMA can vary based on volume, the goal is to maintain a minimum of 1 PFP per MMA.Work independently to manage and complete a queue of tasks generated by various business units within MC GroupPrioritize tasks based on urgency/expected SLAProvide continuous communication to your internal customersResolve tasks within SLAs set forth by the department Manager/DirectorUse critical thinking, creative problem solving, and negotiation skills to resolve Field Partner performance issues and disputes in a manner that is fair and equitable to all involved parties. Such interventions might include:Job-related performance and communication issues, including workmanship or work delaysIssues obtaining paperwork or other documentationDisputing invoices that exceed the limit of MC Group’s Purchase OrderCustomer concerns or dissatisfactionIdentify and analyze escalation trends. Educate Field Partners on pertinent policies and procedures to ensure that their performance meets MC Group’s standards; communicate internal improvement opportunities to appropriate personnel.Terminate Field Partner relationships as necessaryPerform routine vendor management tasks, including the following:Collecting vendor paperworkUpdating vendor recordsVendor portal onboarding and trainingResolve discrepancies and disputes regarding the payment of Field Partners’ invoicesOnboard and/or qualify Field Partners for lighting, signage, electrical, masonry, general contracting, painting, or any other trades as required by the nature of the work.Establish and maintain relationships with Field Partners in all areas within your designated geographic territoryOther assignments at discretion of the Team Lead or department Director.SkillsDecisiveness and confidenceAbility to handle a high volume of urgent tasks simultaneouslyMeticulous organization skillsA strong sense of customer service, even when the “customer” is a coworkerHighly driven and self-motivatedA strong sense of ownership toward his or her work and toward the company as a wholeAbility to act as a mediator and defuse contentious situationsAbility to maintain a calm and positive demeanor, even when contacting people with difficult personalitiesA firm ethical foundation and a strong sense of fairnessAdaptability to interact appropriately with various people and situationsKeen mechanical / technical aptitudeStrongly oriented toward policy and procedureMature, polished, and professional communication skills, whether in person, on the phone, or via emailAbility to work independently and ask for guidance when neededModerate software aptitudeAble to quickly learn new programsIntermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointFluency in Spanish or French is a plusTyping 50+ words per minuteEducation, experience, certificationsSome college experience is required; a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred2+years’ experienceworking in an office environment is strongly preferred, although recent college graduates will be consideredAny experience working inone of the following environments is a plus:The illuminated signage industryThe exterior lighting industryGeneral or electrical contractingAny job which involves daily interaction with subcontractorsAccount managementProject managementProblem/dispute resolution (including a “customer complaint” department)A background in corrective action or quality control is a plusPhysical and mental demandsAbility to work in a strict deadline driven environmentAbility to have a large number of jobs “open” at any given timeWorking ConditionsProlonged hours in front of computerTravel up to 5 weeks per yearMay be required to work outside of regularly scheduled hours as business needs arise.
