Job Description A Regional Sales Manager, who can increase direct sales for all existing and future customers in the Great Lakes Region, is needed in Mentor. This is a full-time, first shift opportunity. Essential Duties: Responsible for direct sales for all existing and future customers Understand entire product portfolio and make appropriate product recommendations Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimize service, sales growth, and customer satisfaction Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins Integrate individual sales efforts with other organized market activities Respond to and follow-up with sales inquiries Monitor and support current marketing and competitor activities Forecast sales for the region Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications/Experience: Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must have a minimum 3 years experience in outside sales Traffic Safety industry preferred Must have proven experience in an outside industrial sales role Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of specification-based selling Must have excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills Must have proven ability to develop and maintain forecasts Must have strong working knowledge of value-based relationship selling Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Travel within the Great Lakes Region is required at least 50% of the time with occasional travel outside this region Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and no major driving violations Only those candidates that can pass a background, BMV check, and drug screen will be considered.
