The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties and carrying out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, Training, Performance Management, Policy Implementation, and Employment Law Compliance. He/she will respond to routine questions from employees and Managers or direct questions to those who can provide appropriate answers. Ability and willingness to handle confidential employee and company information is critical. Assist VP of HR and Senior Management with employee training programs, including researching topics, creating a presentation/group exercises and presenting to the groupRecord New Hire Benefits presentations annually via Zoom Compensation:Administers compensation program(s), such as increases and bonusesAssists with job evaluations and grading Educates managers on FLSA requirements and ensures compliance Recruitment/On-boarding:Coordinate and track new hire paperwork, pre-employment tests, I-9s/e-verify, equipment, etc. Research and implement on-boarding best practices, such as First 90 Days Workbooks Safety:Assist VP of HR and Senior Management in the implementation and follow-through of safety programsComplete, maintain and post OSHA logsDirect employees and managers on the Worker’s Compensation/Accident reporting requirementsEfficiencies & Compliance: Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systemsRecommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in organizational efficiency and compliance of Federal and State regulations including DOL/EEOC/FLSA/HIPPA, etc. 5+ years HR Generalist experience in a similar industry and company size.5+ years of HRIS experience, ADP preferred5+ years of communicating with employees and managers at all levels of an organization.5+ years of successfully resolving difficult situations regarding personnel and organizational conflict.Advanced proficiency with MS Office, specifically using Word, Excel and PowerPointeeo/mfdv
