Job Description:

Must be able to perform repetitive assembly work with an average of 1,000 motion cycles per hour
Must be able to lift parts and components from the floor to the work table, and from the worktable to the next processing area lifting 35 pounds required frequently, 40 pounds occasionally
Assemble screws and other components into electrical junction blocks, using the automatic screw table and various hand tools.
Inspect parts for quality while assembling, per written and verbal instructions
Maintain production levels over the minimum wage level
Box parts as necessary, per a written instructions
Operate a counting scale
Assemble correct components into parts per verbal instructions or job sheet
Set up and adjust automatic screw table
Maintain automatic screw table machinery check and add hydraulic oil, clean machine,change bearings, couplings, and drivers
Any other assigned task as requested by the supervisor, or acting supervisor, within the training level and physical capabilities of the employee

Must consistently achieve a minimum equivalent earned rate above minimum wage to qualify to continue in the piecework training program
Must be able to see quality requirements (vision within 3 feet must be excellent)
Must be able to read at the sixth grade level, and understand written instructions
Must be able to understand quality requirements per written and verbal instructions Remaining skills are acquired on the job. Quality standards, safety requirements, and general work methods must be acceptable within the first two weeks of the trial period.

Must be able to discern plating integrity, burr acceptability, thread depth
acceptability with minimal supervisor assistance
Must assemble parts with correct components Must fully assemble parts
Screws must be tightened to the minimum required torque requirement
Packing must be done according to written standards
Audit results must be 300 PPM or less after initial training period
Production rate must be maintained consistently over the minimum wage level, or 95% efficiency, whichever is greater
Highest producers with acceptable quality are considered first for hiring and also for job retention during crew reductions or equipment shortages
Employee must be working on the assigned task during all working hours,excluding standard lunch break and necessary restroom breaks
Personal business must be taken care of on break times, at lunch time, or before or after the working day (emergencies may be exceptions, at the supervisor's discretion)

The employee must be at the work station, ready for task assignment or working at the assigned task, at the beginning of the paid start time
The employee must work a full eight hour shift, or other assigned shift, each scheduled working day
The employee is expected to report to work for overtime hours when requested
The employee must comply with the standard company attendance policy
