Clean Harbors, a North American leader in comprehensive environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Class A CDL Driver to join our transportation team. This role focuses on the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials, contributing directly to our mission of ensuring a sustainable and safe environment. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in dynamic settings, handle challenging shipments, and make significant impacts on environmental safety and compliance. Operate Class A vehicles in a safe and professional manner at all times Transport hazardous materials from client sites to designated facilities Ensure compliance with all regulations (DOT, OSHA, and EPA) during transport operations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety Complete necessary paperwork including logs, unload documents, and vehicle condition reports Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient route planning Respond to client or dispatch inquiries during the transport process to ensure clear and effective communication Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the vehicle and associated equipment Proven ability to operate a Class A vehicle safely Strong understanding of DOT and hazardous waste regulations Effective communication and documentation skills Ability to manage time effectively and make logistic decisions Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials (HazMat) and Tanker endorsements Clean driving record DOT medical card
