Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods and materials primarily on regional routes Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes efficiently and adhere to assigned schedules Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with Hogan1 policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions and ensure that loading is safe and secure Report defects, accidents, or violations in a timely manner Handle documentation related to deliveries, such as bills of lading and customer paperwork Proficient in operating various types of trucks and trailers Strong time management and customer service skills Good physical condition and stamina Proficient with GPS and other navigation systems In-depth understanding of transportation laws and the maintaining of logs and records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
