Job Description Job Description A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to oversee sanitation operations during the 4th shift. This role is critical to maintaining sanitation, food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The position reports to the FSQA Manager and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a nationally recognized brand. Key Responsibilities: Lead sanitation and 5S programs to meet internal and external standards. Conduct inspections and manage swab/sample programs to ensure sanitation effectiveness. Audit compliance with GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and chemical handling procedures. Motivate and coach employees to foster a self-directed, goal-oriented team. Form and lead teams to improve sanitation outcomes and reduce equipment downtime. Train FSQA staff and plant personnel on sanitation and food safety protocols. Provide backup coverage for production supervision as needed. Administer collective bargaining agreements and resolve labor concerns professionally. Ensure all employees receive required training and identify ongoing training needs. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of sanitation experience in a food production environment. Strong knowledge of dry sanitation practices in food manufacturing. PCQI certification required. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to interpret data for compliance decisions. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Comfortable working across diverse teams and organizational levels. The shift time for this role is four, ten-hour days, Thursday through Sunday, 6:00am to 4:30pm.
