The ideal candidate for this role will have substantial experience in Medical Defense Litigation, bringing prior work experience with medical defense attorneys to the table. They should be well-versed in both medical and legal terminology, enabling them to navigate and utilize the appropriate vernacular in both contexts seamlessly. A professional demeanor is crucial, as the role involves regular interaction with physicians, medical experts, and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities: Preparing legal documents Managing case files Scheduling, and assisting attorneys throughout the litigation process Coordinate between attorneys, clients, and expert witnesses.
