Purpose:
We are seeking a Technical Product Management Intern to support our
Global Product Team, where you will have the opportunity to work
with agile delivery teams on high visibility, high impact business
initiatives. At Cardinal, our Technical Product Managers fill the
role of Product Owner within our delivery teams, helping ensure our
development teams are working towards a shared vision to deliver
outcomes that satisfy customer needs.
This internship will provide valuable experience in contributing to
a product vision, enabling value added services, and collaborating
across various teams with a product-first, outcome-driven mindset.
You will gain first-hand experience during the requirements
gathering phase, day-to-day product ownership, and expand your
knowledge on the payments industry, with a focus on risk and
identity. Our team plays a key role in all aspects of the full
product cycle, allowing you opportunities to perform discovery,
project planning, commercialization, and delivery management. Your
focus for this internship will be supporting increased
collaboration across the larger organization, including assisting
with the onboarding of new teams that will be contributing to the
shared product vision.
What You'll Do:
Assist in the requirements gathering phase for our UI-based
product
Help facilitate communication and collaboration, along with the
Product Owner, across multiple teams
Track project status as it relates to the overall business
initiative
Work directly with the delivery team to understand the product
development process
Conduct analysis on product features relative to market
positioning
What We Need You to Have:
Understanding of the software development process
Strong communication skills

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary for a new hire into this
position is $23 - $27/hr, which may include potential sales
incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on
job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills,
experience, and location. In addition, this position may be
eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits
package for which this position may be eligible that includes
Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid
Time Off, and Wellness Program.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time
between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are
expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and
Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of
the time based on business needs.
Requirements:

Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an
office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and
stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently
operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers
and reach with hands and arms.
Work Authorization:Authorization to work in the U.S. is a
precondition of employment for this position.
