Canada, Europe and Asia. Job Summary:The Senior System
Administrator's role is to maintain and support the integrity of
the operating system environment and various computer systems.
Administers, installs and troubleshoots a variety of operating
systems. Performs systems maintenance tasks, such as system
back-up, recovery and file maintenance. Schedules, installs, and
tests system software upgrades. Configures software and resolves
technical problems. Monitors and maintains software licensing and
maintenance agreements. Responsible for the day-to-day support
operations, monitoring, and proactively maintaining companies'
systems and technologies, including VMware, Windows Servers, O365,
SQL Server and other applications and networking technologies. This
position will have deep expertise in a Windows domain environment
and will drive standards and best practices across the company
while mentoring junior level admins.Lead and continually improve
infrastructure designs through research and adoption of new
products and automation technologies to provide performance
improvements, ease management burden, or improve cost
effectiveness. Leverage previous experience integrating cloud and
on-premise solutions for an integrated user environment.Identify
and resolve performance problems, collaborating with software
development and data integration teams as necessary. Provide backup
and recovery operational standards that tie to the company's
disaster recovery plan. Perform capacity planning duties for server
and storage environments. Duties and ResponsibilitiesServer
Administration and Management: Setup, install, configure,
administer, maintain, monitor and support physical and virtual
servers including Windows 2016/2019/2022 and other Server
Applications products in a heavy Microsoft environment.Responsible
for all procedures and processes necessary to ensure the safety and
integrity of organizational servers, data systems, file structures,
computer operating systems and computer system software.Follow and
enforce IT standards and best practices to ensure a high-degree of
user satisfaction and high systems availabilityDocumentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all supported
computer systems and updates for each system changeResponsible for
the installation, maintenance, configuration, security and
integrity of computer operating systems and supporting
software.Implements operating system enhancements that will improve
the reliability, safety and performance of the system.Conducts
performance measurement and evaluation of the computer system.Acts
in place of supervisor as needed.Perform other duties as

Requirements:
QualificationsAbility to configure and administer diverse servers
and computer operating systems. Familiar with web technology,
database concepts and networking. Prior experience that involved
customer and end-user interaction.Analytical and problem-solving
skills.Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.Well
established verbal and written communication skills. Ability to
work effectively as both a member of a team and independently based
upon the task at hand. Familiar with software deployment
technologies (MDT, PDQ repackaging tools).Knowledgeable about
networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting).Experience
implementing and supporting remote access technologies (VPN,
terminal services).Experience with VMware vSphere ESXi 7.x physical
hosts and VMs.Experience with numerous Microsoft administrative
applications such as Active Directory, Azure Active Directory,
Powershell, Office 365, DNS, DHCP, IIS, etc.Experience and
knowledge of best practices regarding backup processes using backup
appliances.Understanding of database technologies (MS SQL
server).Ability to think and act independently but keep others
informed as needed.Can implement small to medium projects on their
own or within a team.Excellent skills in developing processes and
procedures.Excellent oral communication skills.High energy and
enthusiasm along with a high attention to detail.Must be a
self-starter, highly motivated and possess a strong work
ethic.Flexible and able to function in a hands-on" environment.
Desired Technical Support Experience and QualificationsAssociates
Degree in IT or equivalent experience.Windows MCITP/MCSA/MCSE, or
VMware VCP is a bonus.At least 5 years' experience as a systems
administrator in a medium/large environment.Documentation skills
for processes and procedures (creating KBs, runbooks, topology,
