POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic Human Resources
Generalist II.
In this key role, you'll have broad responsibility for our site in,
Mentor, OH with shared administrative duties with our Troy, IN
site. We are a growing team and this role will assist with a
variety of recruiting activities. You will have many opportunities
to demonstrate leadership by making a positive impact with your
business partners and team members. High level of organization
skills, engagement and communication are necessary to build
relationships across multiple teams with the goal of further
positioning HR as a strategic business partner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and lead various HR programs across the site, projects
include employee engagement, delivering training, providing
coaching and supporting high performance teams.
Assist with engagement, appreciation, and community outreach
activities across site
Conduct engagement focus groups and action plan implementation
Develop trusting relationships with team members while addressing
issues and concerns, answering questions about compensation and
benefits
Lead recruiting efforts and onboarding of new team members
Support change and innovative HR services and processes; present
change agent ideas on how the function can be more efficient
Data entry of new hires/transfers into HRIS system, ensuring all
new hire documentation is complete
Administrative duties as necessary
Complete annual AAP
Monthly HR dashboards tracking and actions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Business, or related
field
4 or more years of progressive HR experience.
Experience supporting a manufacturing environment is required.
Ability to manage multiple, often conflicting, priorities and still
deliver results on time.
Customer service focus; excellent employee relations, problem
solving and conflict resolution experience.
Personal integrity; exceptional communications skills; ability to
build strong relationships.
Ability to work on a variety of problems of diverse scope and
complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes
require tradeoffs and/or coordination across multiple teams.
Ability to establish goals and objectives and manage projects to
completion.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or
complaints.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with employee personnel
records and confidential matters.
Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills and be able
to perform tasks under tight deadlines
