Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/03/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Work on a 28-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in respiratory ailments and care /n• Care for a variety of patients including tracheostomy and chronic ventilator patients /n• Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:6 in a fast-paced environment /n• Must be able to work every other weekend /n• Floating to other units required /n• Interview required for this position /n• Must have 2 years of recent medical/surgical experience specializing in trach/chronic ventilator patients /n• 2 recent years of experience in drawing blood required /n• Resume must include Epic and phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months /n• LTACH (Long-Term Acute Care Hospital) experience preferred /n• BLS certification required /n• Must have accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE /n• Solid black scrubs required /n• RTO (Requested Time Off) limited to maximum 7 days /n• No RTO allowed during first two weeks of assignment /n• Block schedule requests not accepted /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a specialized medical/surgical unit focused on respiratory care and chronic ventilator patients.
