Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 18 months of recent behavioral health experience in an acute care setting (non-psychiatric) License: Permanent Ohio or Compact license required Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required Must-Have: Must have permanent experience in a short-term acute care hospital (non-psychiatric) prior to travel. Milieu management, medication management, assessments, and documentation experience is required. One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. Active certifications with nothing pending are required. Candidates must meet all other general requirements. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health. This position requires working night shifts for three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates must possess a minimum of 18 months of recent experience in an acute care setting focused on behavioral health (non-psychiatric). Experience in milieu management and medication management is essential. Candidates should be competent in performing assessments and documentation. Only permanent licenses from Ohio or a Compact license are accepted. References from managers or supervising personnel from previous positions in the last 12 months are mandatory for qualification. The facility requires compliance with additional health and safety protocols. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a successful record in trauma and crisis management. A negative drug screen is required within 12 months prior to employment.
