A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled multi-modality imaging technologist specializing in two of the following areas: CT, X-ray, or MRI. This contract position is based in Tiffin, Ohio, offering a unique chance to work in a hospital setting that prioritizes patient safety, quality imaging, and collaborative care. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in two modalities such as CT and X-ray, or MRI and X-ray, following established protocols for patient care. Operate and maintain imaging equipment including GE CT and X-ray systems, ensuring high-quality images and safety at all times. Obtain and document patients clinical history and laboratory results using point-of-care devices. Administer intravenous contrast using approved protocols and power injectors, when required. Ensure patient identification and procedure orders are correctly verified using two identifiers. Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients, staff, and self. Support emergency department patients and adapt to fluctuating workflow demands. Be available for scheduled shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., every fourth weekend, and every other holiday, with an on-call rotation. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 2 years of Radiology Tech experience with at least 2 years in CT performed in a hospital setting. Current Ohio state licensure, ARRT certification, and basic life support (BLS) certification preferred. Experience with emergency department workflows and GE imaging equipment is a plus. Previous travel assignments preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of the healthcare interdisciplinary team. Strong communication, critical thinking skills, and patient-centered care mindset. Additional Details: Daily workload averages approximately 3 patients per hour depending on staffing and patient needs. Multi-department work may be required during shifts, necessitating flexibility and adaptability.
