As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing attentive and personalized assistance. Duties: Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting - always treating everyone with kindness and respect. Prepare nutritious meals and provide assistance with feeding, - ensuring each meal is served with patience and encouragement. Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our seniors. Offer gentle support with mobility and lifting - always prioritizing the dignity and comfort of those in your care. Skills & Qualities: Experience 1-3 years caregiving experience required Must be able to physically assist clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to chair which may required lifting up to 50 lbs. Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, empathize, and provide attentive, compassionate support. An understanding of caregiving best practices and a willingness to learn and grow in the field. This is a fully onsite caregiver position in Northern Summit County, OH. (Akron, Hudson, Stow) Reliable in-person attendance is an essential function of this role. Candidates must be able to consistently commute to the worksite for all scheduled shifts (approximately a 20-minute commute preferred). Applicants who cannot meet this requirement will not be considered. If you fall outside of our designated territory, you will be referred to another Assisting Hands Franchise.
