support and encouragement. Medina Hospital’s 2 South unit is a
25-bed complex medicine unit known for its compassionate,
comprehensive and patient-first patient care, highly skilled
nursing team and engaging work environment. This unit routinely
manages patients requiring procedures such as thoracentesis,
paracentesis, peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC)
placement and peritoneal dialysis treatments. As an RN Resident on
this unit, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering
exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In
this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and
visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and
supply healthcare information as needed. Upon successful completion
of the core curriculum, this position transitions into an RN

Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority,
identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing
safety resources. A caregiver in this position works nights from
7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. A caregiver who excels in this role will: -
Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual
learning needs. - Provide direct nursing care alongside a success
coach. - Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care
(acuity of need, patient preference and resource availability). -
Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate
action to correct, reduce or prevent risk. - Seek supervision,
consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and
independently. - Document in patients’ medical records. Minimum
qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - Graduate
from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN
program) - Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) -
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart
Association (AHA) - New grad RN OR less than one year of RN work
experience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver
include: - Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) Our caregivers

protective equipment as required for procedures. Pay Range Minimum
hourly: $33.50 Maximum hourly: $53.60 The pay range displayed on
this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A
successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after
taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work
history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range
displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g.,
shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not
