Exciting Opportunity for a Gastroenterologist in Ashtabula, OH
Join a leading healthcare facility in Ashtabula, OH as a Permanent
Gastroenterologist. Be part of a growing multi-specialty group
practice that includes over 60 employed providers, with a strong
focus on patient care. This community hospital, affiliated with the
Cleveland Clinic, is fully accredited and recognized for its
quality and patient safety, making it the only full-service
hospital in the region. Job Responsibilities: Provide outpatient
gastroenterology and internal medicine services Consult and treat
an average of 15-20 patients per day Collaborate with a group of 2
physicians and an experienced urologist Utilize a fully integrated
EMR system with Cleveland Clinic Health System (EPIC) Manage onsite
lab and X-ray services Work in a high-volume office practice with
defined referral sources from affiliated primary care physicians
Participate in surgical procedures as needed with blocked time in
the OR Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Gastroenterology Ability to work within a 40-mile radius;
relocation willingness is required Strong patient care and
communication skills Experience in a high-volume practice setting
is preferred License and Certification Requirements: Valid Ohio
medical license (or in the process of obtaining) BLS and ACLS
certification (must be obtained by start date) DEA registration
(must be obtained prior to start) Copy of the most recent NPDB
Report (within 30 to 60 days active) Willingness to accept H-1B or
J-1 visa candidates Ashtabula, OH, is a charming city located on
