Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Cleveland, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,306 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care RN Profession: RN Critical Care Specialty: RN Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Immediate cardiac post-operative patient care - Inotropic medications - Mediastinal chest tubes - Central lines - Arterial lines - Neonatal care - Advanced airways - Ventilators - Family-centered care - Post-cardiac catheterization care - EPIC EMR experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care RN with strong critical thinking skills and ICU skillset. The ideal candidate should have experience in caring for cardiac patients who require intensive and intermediate care. You will provide care primarily in a state-of-the-art unit that focuses on pediatric cardiac patients. Patient care ratios typically include 1:1 or 2:1 for ICU care and 3:1 for intermediate care. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to family-centered care and be proficient in advanced critical care techniques. Experience with inotropic medications, chest tubes, and ventilators is essential. Candidates should also have strong communication skills for effective family interaction and patient advocacy.
