Job Description:
Job Title: RN Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotations Hours per
Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year in BMT License: RN
Certifications: ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card, Basic
Life Support Must-Have: 1 year of experience in Bone Marrow
Transplant Description: This position involves working in a 30-bed
inpatient unit. Care is provided to patients with malignant
hematologic disorders. Stem cell transplant and CAR-T infusions are
conducted on the division. Many research protocols are conducted in
the unit. Day/Night rotations occur every 2 weeks. The RN to
patient ratio is 1:3-4 for the day and evening shift. The RN to
patient ratio is 1:4-6 for the night shift. Travel RNs will not be
expected to infuse stem cells or CAR-T cells.
