Registered Respiratory Therapist role within the University

opportunity for a part time days, Registered Respiratory Therapist
to support patients in our acute care hospital in Chardon. /n

experience /n /n /n /n A Brief Overview /n The therapist is
learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of
behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This therapist
performs basic competencies within orientation and provides
satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision. /n What
You Will Do /n /n - Mechanical ventilation /n - Medicated aerosol
delivery /n - Airway clearance therapy /n - Patient monitoring /n -
Oxygen and humidity therapy /n - Special procedures (CPR, specialty
gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.) /n /n Additional
Responsibilities /n /n - Performs other duties as assigned. /n -
Complies with all policies and standards. /n - For specific duties
and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the
department during orientation. /n - Must abide by all requirements
to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI)
for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH
policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of
PHI in the workplace. /n Qualifications Education /n /n -
Associate's Degree in Respiratory (Required) or /n - Bachelor's
Degree in Respiratory (Required) /n /n Work Experience /n /n - 1
years Respiratory Therapy (Preferred) /n /n Licenses and
Certifications /n /n - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) /n -
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) /n - Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) (Preferred) /n - Being a member of the AARC is
strongly recommended. /n - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
(Preferred) /n - NRP Certified (Neonatal facilities) (Preferred) /n
/n Position Details /n Schedule is (2) 12 hour day shifts,
Monday-Friday, every third weekend, and rotating holidays. /n
