This position will float to all locations in Lake, Cuyahoga, and
Ashtabula counties. ***SCOPE OF ROLEReporting to the assigned site
Manager, Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Technician Float will assist the
Pharmacist in the preparation and distribution of medications. You
will be ensured maintenance of drug inventory, patient and pharmacy
records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local
laws and regulations as well as pharmacy policies and procedures.
The Pharmacy Technician Float will execute accuracy and attention
to detail during the prescription filling process.HOW YOU'LL
SUCCEED Actively fulfill pharmacy technician needs by working at
various Signature Health locations as scheduled by your
Supervisor.Assist the Pharmacist in stages of the prescription
filling process, including data entry.Coordinate the shipment and
delivery of pharmacy orders to patients.Maintain drugs in the
pharmacy to include ordering, receiving, storing and filling out
all necessary paperwork.Accurately enter client and prescription
information and submits insurance claims.Properly package and label
prescriptions.Provide high quality customer service and answer
pharmacy related inquiries in person and on the phone.Report,
immediately, prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhere
to company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors
and the quality improvement program.Respond to telephone calls that
do not require personal attention of the pharmacist.Assist with
exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy is
stocked with adequate supplies and is clean, neat and orderly in
condition and appearance.Comply with all agency policies and
procedures.Maintain all aspects of HIPAA, promoting patient
confidentiality and right to privacy.May be required to perform
telehealth services as determined by Signature Health.Adherence and
completion of compliance training provided by Signature
Health.Responsible for and completes all productivity/documentation
requirements.Participate in all assigned staff meetings and staff
development programs.Demonstrate appropriate attendance and
punctuality in adherence with Signature Health policies.Other
duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or
equivalent required.Pharmacy Technician Certificate in the state of
Ohio (CPhT or RPhT) required.3-5+ years' of Pharmacy Technician
experience in a retail setting required.American Heart Association
(AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Computer
experience sufficient to perform data entry functions.COMPETENCIES
