Job Description
The Service and Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing
divisional service, inventory, and cost reporting and control
processes while owning continuous improvement activities to achieve
our divisional business objectives. The Service and Inventory
Manager will maintain customer relations with regard to service
offerings and service performance, while developing a team of
subject matter experts to oversee our key raw, wip, and fg planning
process best practices across the LGM NA network.-- --- - Focus of
this role will include but is not limited to the following:-- ---
--- --- - Develop and maintain a robust, repeatable, and flexible
service reporting methodology within Oracle BI to provide
self-serve reporting, transparency to opportunities, and action
oriented engagement across the organization to achieve world class
service. Develop and maintain a robust, repeatable, and flexible
inventory stocking strategy aligned with our service and FcF
objectives within Oracle IO. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and
our Customer base to identify, and integrate creative service
program offerings allowing us to differentiate in the market
through agility, availability, and cost while maintaining control
of our cost to serve metrics (Trim, Scrap, Inv, Movement, ROI). Aid
in establishing divisional process owners for raw, wip, and fg
planning closely linked with our remote planners to enhance
sustainability, flexibility, and depth of knowledge. Employee

manage project to meet Departmental goals and achieve financial

customer needs to create actionable goals that create competitive

global Supply Chain initiatives.-- --- - Develop and execute
appropriate business plans/multi-generation Supply Chain plans to
identify trends, opportunities for marketplace advantage and new
ideas for products, processes and services.-- --- --- --- - Develop
Supply Chain Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures (OGSM) for
assigned area and confirm linkage to global business strategies.--
--- - Lead benchmarking of Supply Chain related topics in support
of divisional goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor--------s Degree in related field required. Master--------s
Degree preferred. 7+ years Service, Materials, and Logistics (or
related) experience, with 3+ years supervisory or lead experience
preferred. Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow
and improvement strategies (e.g. ELS, continuous flow, cellular
etc.) and the ability to integrate those into the operation.
Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers
within the manufacturing environment. Strong organizational skills
in strategy, communication at all levels, and execution. Strong
leadership skills. Ability to lead, and influence, others in a
team-based organization Excellent organizational and people skills,
project management skills, with an ability to openly convey
information to team members in a timely and concise manner. #PIQ
