OD/ID Grinder | DIRECT HIRE/PERMANENT Location: Roseville, MI
Compensation: $27–$35/hour (based on experience) Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM Position Overview We're hiring an
experienced OD/ID Grinder to join a small, precision-focused shop.
You'll be responsible for grinding internal and external metal
surfaces to exact specs for aerospace, automotive, medical, and
other high-performance industries. Responsibilities Set up and
operate manual/CNC OD/ID cylindrical grinders Interpret blueprints
and specs Select, dress, and install grinding wheels Inspect parts
with micrometers, bore gauges, etc. Maintain tight tolerances and
quality finishes Perform light machine maintenance Troubleshoot and
resolve grinding issues Keep a clean, safe work area Requirements
OD/ID grinding experience Able to read blueprints and use precision
tools Strong attention to detail and quality Familiar with Parker
Majestic grinding machines
