Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

instruction with program leadership within a K-12 educational
setting. The position involves serving as both a Special Education
Director and Resource Room Teacher, allowing for a unique blend of
hands-on teaching and administrative responsibilities. You will
contribute to shaping individualized academic plans while
supervising special education staff, all aligned with a strong
commitment to student achievement. Location: Ann Arbor, MI Work
hours: 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM Caseload: 8-9 students Contract type:
Contract to hire Start date: Immediate Key responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction to students in the Resource Room,
tailoring lessons to meet diverse learning needs Supervise and
support special education staff, fostering a collaborative and
effective team environment Oversee special education programs to
ensure compliance and enhance program effectiveness Develop and
implement individualized academic planning aligned with core
educational beliefs Participate in program administration
activities including planning, assessment, and reporting Desired
qualifications and experience: Valid K-12 Special Education
teaching license Proven experience working with Resource Room
students Strong leadership and communication skills suitable for
managing staff and program development Ability to balance
instructional duties with supervisory and administrative tasks
Commitment to individualized student achievement and inclusive
