enthusiastic educators to join our team for the 2025–26 school year
as Middle School Math Teachers (Grades 5–8) . At Focused Staffing

Math Teacher (Grades 5–8) – 1099 Contractor Rate: $50 – $55/hr

prepare every scholar for college and beyond. What You’ll Do Design
and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate math lessons
tailored to student needs. Build a classroom culture centered on
high expectations, respect, and college readiness . Collaborate
with colleagues and leadership to analyze student data and refine
instruction. Share best practices and continuously grow as part of
a supportive teaching community. Maintain strong communication with
families through consistent updates and conferences. Create a safe,
organized, and inspiring classroom environment. Foster daily,
positive relationships that motivate and empower students. What
We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree required. 2 years of teaching
experience preferred, particularly in urban school settings. Valid
Ohio teaching license , Substitute License, or active pursuit of
licensure. Deep passion for urban education and a strong alignment
with our mission. Solid expertise in your content area and grade
level. Data-driven mindset and strong instructional skills.
Professionalism, openness to feedback, and a growth-oriented
attitude . Excellent organizational, communication, and
collaboration abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google
Sheets . Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and
