Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Service Technician Job Description As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs of residential HVAC systems. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on residential HVAC systems. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency. Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Provide excellent customer service and consultations. Document and complete work orders using a tablet, computer, or cell phone. Essential Skills Experience installing and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial environments. Valid Driver's License and experience driving a work van. Strong customer service skills. Ability to use hand and power tools effectively. Experience with troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in customer-facing roles. Ability to accurately diagnose issues and order correct parts. Possession of required tools for the job. Work Environment Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties every third week from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. On-call scheduling is done six months in advance, and you will receive additional compensation for being on call. Flexible start times are available the day after being called out to a job. The position covers the Philadelphia Counties area, with the expectation of returning home every night. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Doylestown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
